The This Way Ahead Program from Enterprise for High School Students is a 14-week job skills and development program for San Francisco Bay Area high school students ages 16 to 18 to help you discover career opportunities and cultivate your individual interests through training, guidance, and employment experiences.
Plus, when you sign up for the This Way Ahead Program, you’ll get a $100 per month stipend ($350 total) and a $100 bonus when you complete a self-set savings goal with your free savings account.
Applications to the This Way Ahead Program are available in November and December each year, with the job-readiness phase taking place from January to April, the internship phase from May to mid-October, and the post program from October and beyond.
The internships are offered at Gap and Old Navy stores where you’ll work as a sales associate with possible continued employment after the program ends.
For participating, you’ll receive a $50 stipend every 2 weeks for up to $350 in total.
Plus, you’ll get a free checking and savings account with a $100 bonus when you complete a self-set savings goal.
You’ll also get a monthly Muni pass.
The This Way Ahead Program gives you access to a variety of additional job services that can help you secure employment in the future.
