Eligible students and teachers can get access to Office 365 Education for free.
You can qualify if your school has licensed Office institution-wide for faculty and staff through Microsoft’s Volume Licensing program and are enrolled to allow students to sign up directly with Microsoft.
Active full- or part-time students at qualifying schools are eligible if you:
- Have a school-specific email address provided by the school (e.g., contoso.edu) that can receive external email.
- Are of legal age to sign up for an online offer individually (13 years old).
- Have Internet access.
Just Check Your Eligibility by entering your school email address.
If you are eligible, you can install the latest version of Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs and on other mobile devices, including Windows tablets and iPad.
This plan allows you to install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access.
It also includes 1 TB of storage from OneDrive, managed by the school, so that students and teachers can easily work together and stay connected using Office Online, Yammer, and SharePoint sites.
You can use the plan until you graduate or are no longer enrolled at a qualified school.
